silly car seat ?/Grocery store
If I wanna go to the food store with Noah will his car seat fit in the cart? In the top part? How do I do this?

I've done this at Stop N Shop. It fits in the bottom part, but I think (it's been a while since I did it) the top part (where a toddler would sit) doesn't open all the way.
I only do this when I have a few things to get, as there is limited room in the cart.

It depends on the cart and on your seat. I had the Graco snug ride, and it fit great at target, not so good at the grocery store. you just put it in, and sometimes it will latch in. If it doesn't fit well, I put it in the basket part - not leaving too much room to get groceries!

I put him right in the main part of the shopping cart - works perfectly!

Re: silly car seat ?/Grocery store
I have noticed that certain stores' carts work great for putting the car seat in the top part. Target and BRU has great carts for that. The back of the top part of the seat is higher, which makes the car seat sit up more.
The carts at the supermarket and costco stink. When you put them in the top part it looks like it leans back too far (like they are upside down or something). Laying newborns down like that isnt good. It might make them reflux more.
If i dont have a lot to get at the supermarket i put her in the big part. It works good.
Did that make sense????
