Silly question - how do I know what size underwear to buy DD for the 1st time?
She's 2, but she mostly wears size 4T pants and shirts bc she's so tall. But she is so skinny and has such a tiny little butt. So should I get her 2T-3T? She's currently size 4 in diapers if that helps.
Or should I get her pull ups to start with? She just starting to show interest in the potty.

They do run small. THere is a chart on the back with weight and waist size.
I'd go by that.
You can always just buy one pack to see.

we bought the smallest size, shes crazy skinny so idk if they'll even stay on. But Potty training is going abysmal right now

I bought the smallest size (2-3T) when I was potty training DS and DD at age 2.
DS at 4.5 still fits well into them.
Buy a single pack & try them out.

Ok thanks! I will go with the smallest size to start off. She asked to pee on the potty last night and actually went for the first time instead of just sitting there so I think we're ready to start potty training.

I would pick up a pack or two of bigger ones too. We went through a lot of pairs when I was trying (we're taking a long break at this point) but I bought a variety of sizes so we'd have plenty of extras in the beginning since she'll obviously grow into the bigger ones eventually. She fit into the 2t ones but the 3t and 4t were fine too and there were days she went through them all!

You just have to buy some and see. I bought my daughter 4 different brands, all 2t/3t and they are all cut very different- some are huge on her and some fit (shes 22 mos and very thin).

My DD was in a size 4 or 5 diaper and the 2t-3t underwear (the smallest i could find) fit fine. Some brands are more baggy and others fit fine, but anything bigger would have fallen down!

We just did the 3 day potty training with DD this weekend and bought her her first undies yesterday. She's 2 and super tiny, still wears size 4 diapers and 12mo sized clothes. I was surprised to find the 2t/3t size fit her rather well. They are a little baggy but they stay on perfectly
