Silly Question
This may be a case of me overthinking, but has anyone in a public school ever had an issue with taking kids to see the Radio City Christmas Show, specifically because of the Living Natvity part?
I'd really like to take my ESL students there this year, but I have several Muslim students. Part of me feels like I'm thinking too much about it, and part of me feels like I should double think this.
I'm just being stupid and overthinking right?

Re: Silly Question
I don't think it's a good idea.

Re: Silly Question
Your intentions are good but it's not a great idea. Though ironically, I had a Muslim student for three years and she was always the one who bugged me about doing secret Santa.
Theaterworks USA does nice productions at the Town Hall in Manhattan- it's inexpensive and a little schlocky but I've taken kids of all faiths to The Nutcracker and A Christmas Carol without issues.

Re: Silly Question
I had the idea in my head of doing Holiday traditions in NY. Guess I'll be rethinking this!
