Silly question about the side effects of an epidural
Being I am such a neurotic, I just wanted to make sure that if I were going to have any of the bad side effects from the epidural such as the spinal headache, infections, etc. I would have them already, right? It is a week today. I feel fine, just a little tension headache off and on the last couple of days, but definetely not a spinal headache.

I was worried about side effects too and had none. I think the chance of the side effects is slim but I think you would experience them within a day or so. I would say you are okay.

Not necessarily, I had residual back pain (and still do) from an epidural that I had in Jan of 2006. You probably will be fine, but not everything comes out right away.

I would say you are fine. I got a spinal headache the day after I had my son.
