Silly question... Do diapers Expire?
I tried to squeak DS in the rest of the size 1's I have but he started doing back to back poo throughs so I had to go to size 2. I have more than half a case of size 1. I see no dates on the boxes. Ya think they'd be good if I saved them in his 0-3 month clothes bin in the attic or should I find someone to give them to? We'll most likely/hopefully have DC #2 within a year.

I don't think so. My nephew is 15 months younger than my DS and I gave thema bunch of diapers (same thing, odd sizes, etc) and she never said anything about it

ds was out of the 1s so quickly i have 1/2 a case left... so i double bagged for #2... but i wouldnt put them in the attic do to the temp fluctuations....

I actually sold mine on the buy/sell thread. I figured once baby #2 comes, I'll get new packs.
I don't think they expire though

My DD and my niece were born 2 1/2 years apart. My sister gave me diapers that she never used - they were fine.

I have two unopened "packages" that were part of an open case so I don't think those can be returned.
I'll double bag the loose ones and take my chances. I should have room to keep them in an interior closet.

I did a search on google a while back and found a response from Pampers to someone on a message board:

In general paper products do not have a specific shelf life. However, to ensure the best performance, we recommend our diapers be kept in a shaded, dry storage area where the temperature is 85 degrees or less. Extreme heat or humidity could effect their performance. Also, if diapers are more than 1.5 years old, they may change surface color, but the product's safety and performance will be as great as ever.
