silly question for the new mommies going back to school

How are you going to work your schedule in the morning. Are you going to shower in the morning before your baby wakes up or at night?

Re: silly question for the new mommies going back to school

I do mine in the morning. Luckily my FIL comes over and picks up the boys in the morning, becuase he has to set the the guys up. DH owns his own busniesss, so the workers come here.
I leave my house my 6:30, whic is when they are starting to wake up.

I shower at night. In the morning, DS wakes me up so there is no time.

I shower in the morning but DH takes care of DD during the day so it's not a problem for me.

Re: silly question for the new mommies going back to school

I will get up at 5:30, shower and then the girls usually wake up at 6, I will get them ready. I leave at 6:45ish and then dh will feed them bottles and take them to my cousin's for the day.

Re: silly question for the new mommies going back to school

I always shower in the morning. I can't get away with showering at night because I feel gross the next day.
When Ava was only a few months old, JT would wake up with her if I woke her in the mornings. Then, as she got older, I'd put her in her bouncy seat with the TV on while I showered and got ready, then I woke JT up as I was leaving.
Starting around 8 months or so, I would put her in the pack n play on the mornings she woke up with me, give her some toys, turn on the tv and go about my business, she would give herself her bottle and now she has her sippy cup. I have the pack n play in our bedroom now, and JT gets in about an extra hour of sleep while she reads and plays right next to him. If she needs him, she just reaches up and taps him (I put it that close to the bed so he wakes up if she's cranky or upset or whatever). It works well for us because JT works nights and needs sleep, so this helps him get a little extra in, and it also frees me up to do my thing in the morning. That being said, there's few mornings that she's actually awake when I am getting ready.
