Silly question....What do you wear to yoga?
meaning can I just wear a t-shirt and sweats or does it have to be fitted clothing? I tried on yoga pants and a tank and my goodness I do not belong in those. I would feel very uncomfy mostly in a fitted tank.

That's exactly what I wear, a T-shirt and sweatpants. You need to feel as comfortable as possible. But if you are doing Hot Yoga, make sure you dress up in layers, for example I would wear a T-shirt but also have a spaghetti strap top on for when it gets to hot

Re: Silly question....What do you wear to yoga?
I usually wear a tank top and yoga pants or cropped leggings. I take hot yoga so I wear the tank top. If you are doing regular yoga, a t-shirt and yoga pants would be fine, maybe a tank top underneath if you get hot.

Re: Silly question....What do you wear to yoga?
there is no way i could wear sweats to yoga. all the fabric would get in the way of the poses. i find the more fitted clothing you wear, the more comfortable it is. not to mention you can see your form in the mirror and correct the poses better. for me, yoga pants/capris and a tank top.

Hot yoga or regular?
If hot, no matter how you feel I would wear a tank & I wear capri work out pants
Regular: a big tee shirt & loose fitting workout pants. I find sweats uncomfy while working out.

regular yoga. I don't mind yoga pants, but I just can't wear a tank top the way I look right now

You definitely don't have to wear a tank top for regular yoga! I almost never do.
My only suggestion would be if you're going to wear a loose fitting t-shirt to tuck it in. Sometimes when I'm doing downward dog or back bends I get self-conscious if my belly shows, so I tuck.

I sometimes wear a t-shirt and leggings, but usually I wear a tanktop with the bra built in, and capri leggings...

Re: Silly question....What do you wear to yoga?
I go to hot yoga and I wear either leggings or tight yoga pants/capris and a tank over a sports bra or a tank with a built in bra.
You can't really wear anything too loose to this style of yoga class because it will become baggier and heavy and get in the way of your moves as you become drenched with sweat.
I have seen people come to class who had no clue and wore sweat pants and even those long sleeve shirts that make you sweat more and they had to actually leave the class.
