silly question? Can we wear Spanx etc.
I ordered a dress for a wedding on January 9th, I have a LITTLE room to grow in it so I was going to order the next size up just in case but of course now its not on the website. If I need to, can I wear Spanx? I will be 12 weeks. . .

I am pretty sure it is fine! I wore a pair at 16 weeks for a wedding, not so much for my belly but for my hips and butt, lol! I thought I'd be uncomfortable, but I was fine. I wore my regular size. I think I was up about 8 lbs by then.

Thanks! It is so strange, my old dresses fit my belly/hips but they are tight right UNDER my boobs. . . maybe I am going to have a VERY HIGH belly.

i have two pairs of "mama spanx" which have more 'give' in the belly but suck you in everywhere else. love them.

Absolutely-they make maternity spanx-they sell them at Destination Maternity. You might find the regular ones snug.

THE best thing EVER! I wore them for a wedding in October and throughout the holidays! Totally worth the money!!!

Yes, it's totally fine. The worst that will happen is you will get uncomfortable. The baby is really, really well protected in there!

I think you CAN wear whatever you feel comfortable in, butj I was carrying HIGH from the very beginning and I couldn't wear ANYTHING that restricted my belly after about 6-7 weeks. So, I'd say to be safe, either get spanx a size or two bigger or get the maternity ones!

Yea tbhis seems to be my problem too so I don't think the maternity ones will make a difference - argh! Lol
