Silly school supply question
Are we supposed to put DC's name on the supplies (markers, etc...) or do the teachers just take everyones and combine together?

Re: Silly school supply question
Last year when DS was in Kindergarten, the teacher just combined all of the supplies together. I didn't know that she was going to do that until she told us the day before school started.

Silly school supply question
Our list specified which things were to be labeled. The bulk of it doesn't need to be.

Re: Silly school supply question
It depends on your school - they should tell you. For us, the only things they 'combined' for the community were pencils, wet wipes, tissues and Ziploc bags. Everything else was individual and labeled.

This is how it was for us as well...
The only items they wanted labeled were the folders and binder...
Everything else became community property ( crayons, markers, glue sticks, tissues etc..)

Re: Silly school supply question
Kindergarten was all community. After that it is teacher's preference. We find out in the teacher's letter in August.
