SImple advice from a day care mom
If your kid makes a mess of him/herself at daycare, I recommend plaid shirts or tie dye shirts. DS has food all over his shirt when I pick him up. Sometimes I have another stop to make on the way home, but his dirty clothes are embarrassing. When he wears either plaid or tie dye, it does not show as much. I noticed that some of his teachers change his clothes if there is even a small stain and others let him wear the shirt for the rest of the day. They're all pretty good about cleaning his hands and face, so I'm happy. I just got some more tie dye shirts!

Why not just go naked? SKin is easy to clean.

a.) The AC is on full force at daycare.
b.) the little girls would be all over him
c.) there is one little boy who would be all over him
d.) I don't want to think of all the scratches he would have on his body if he played naked.
e.) I try to do that with him at home but DH doesn't like the idea of naked at the dinner table.

You could have made points all day couldn't you?
Maybe it's because I have another screen open where I am writing a brief!
