Simple chili recipe Q
Ok so DH has been the chili maker for years now but has never held onto the recipe. He just follows the recipe on the can of beans. Fastforward there no longer is a recipe on the can anymore. So he took one off the internet and made it this afternoon but it tastes like it's missing something. Can you share yours so I can see if we're missing an ingredient or take a look and see if you think something is missing here. TIA!
kidney beans
can tomatoes
ground chuck
onions
green pepper
garlic
chili prowder
pepper
cumin
salt to taste

I use exactly the ingredients you've posted. But, the great thing about chili is you can vary it and pretty much add or take out anything you want!

the secret is to buy a small can of chile peppers in adobe sauce..its near the goya stuff..use a few and some of the sauce.

Use a chili seasoning packet instead of chili powder. There is something else in there that changes the taste.
