no, Honestly I don't think I would notice. Maybe I'd assume that whomever is holding your bo-k during the ceremony was the MOH though...

yes we still have a bridal party and best man.
My moh was my sister. I never envisioned anyone but her to be my maid of honor. I wouldnt feel right asking any other bridesmaid to be it.

Do you have a brother you could ask to stand up for you? It might help if it wasn't a woman at all.
I don't think you really need one, you just need a witness to sign the marriage license. Everything else is just for show

I don't think I would realize there wasn't a MOH - since you need two witnesses to sign the marriage license, I would assume that one of those people was the MOH.

Nah, it's not weird at all. You still have your bridal party standing up there with you.
If it doesn't feel right asking anyone else to be the MOH, then don't. It's ALL about what makes YOU comfortable.
