Since DC, does anyone else conjur up the most outrageous scenarios?

I swear I have become the most ridiculous worry wart.

Last night I'm laying in bed thinking about the nickel that was on the floor in the computer room that I never picked up.
Now, DD doesn't even crawl yet and is never in the computer room. Yet, I had to get out of bed and pick up the nickel JUST IN CASE DD miraculously crawled, found the nickel, and choked on it.

I'm a freak, I know!!!!!!

I think of the most random scariest things ever, I woke up the other night with a nightmare that DD ran out into the street while we were playing outside..DD isn't even walking yet I've become such a worry wart, I'm worrying about worrying too much

OMG totally. I am a psycho about water caps since we drink bottled water. The other day Declan comes up to me and brings me a water cap. I almost had a heart attack. Then when I talked to my DH about it he said oh must have been yours. Yeah right...me the psycho about it?

you wouldnt BELIEVE the scenarios Ive thought of since DS was born......sometimes so horrible I give myself anxiety over them. I NEVER EVER thought of things like that before DS.

I was watching something on discovery last night, like "I should be dead" and then spent the 15 minutes before I fell asleep playing horrible scenarios over in my head.

I do it ALL the time.

yep, my mind just takes everything to extremes. Its ridiculous. I laugh at myself sometimes, however, I would totally get up in the middle of the night from my nice cozy bed to pick up the nickel, that DD couldnt even get!

My biggest fear is something happening to me when I am home alone with DD. Worst case scenerio she is still in the crib and is now trapped there , crying and no one can hear her. I even make DH call me in the mornings to check on me but I dont think he takes me too seriously since its almost 10 and he hasnt called yet

oh and I am also so paranoid that she is going to get the dogs medication. Even though I make sure he swallows the pills and even check his mouth after, I am somehow thinking he is going to still spit them out, I won't know and DD will eat it. (She did get hold of one once that he had spit out. She put it in her mouth but I was able to get her to spit it out, I called poison control and everything)
