since I am buying, what kind of toys does your 12-18 monther have in their crib...and what kind of soother/noise machine are you using with them?

I guess I am dumb b/c it's a Friday but if anyone has any answers, I am here all night.

unless of course the rampaging children upstairs or the asshat neighbor next door don't wake my kid up first. but I digress. I am still in brooklyn.

James just has his Adan and Anais blankie in his crib. In his room we use a sound machine from Brookstone and the Twilight Turtle. I love that freakin turtle.

DS sleeps with two lovey's (angel dear). The only other thing in his crib is the FP aquarium which he loves. He puts on the music every night at some point. It really works wonders and soothes him. We also have a sound machine and it does it's job blocking out some noise, but I would buy a really loud one.

He sleeps with his blankie. And we have the Homedic Sound Spa with the projector. He loves it, so do I lol.

DD and DS have had leapfrog Scout/Violet in their crib since they were 12 months.
For sound, we use a stand fan

DS sleeps with his lovey, a blanket, the crib projector, baby Tad, a stuffed duck and a teeny tiny stuffed lamb There is also a sleep sheep above his crib.

DD has a couple of stuffed animals, Sophie & Violet the talking dog (not her official name, but it's escaping me right now). She also has the FP aquarium, and it goes on at some point every night.

Both DD's have Angel Dear loveys in their cribs and I have a Sleep Sheep in their room.

DD has the fisher price aquarium. She also has one of those stuffed animal/blankie things. That's it...for her crib at least

His discontinued lovey (Rich the mutt dog from my lil' banky) and the Homedics SoundSpa lullaby machine (love that machine!).

This soother is on an amazing sale--I'm tempted to get it though we don't need it!

he has a few things but nothing he loves.

mostly he loves throwing everything OUT of his crib.

I am trying to get it to be more appealing for sleeping that I will funnel money in to!

DS is almost 18 months old. He sleeps with a blanket, 1-2 bears per night (depends on who he wants that night) and a little black fan on low. At first the fan was to circulate the air in his room but now he's just gotten used to the hum of it and it just stays on all the time. It's like white noise. He's such a good sleeper, but I have NO idea if the fan actually makes a difference. I just want to leave well enough alone, so on it stays!!

DS has the Fisher Price Rainforest Waterfall Peek-a-boo Soother on his crib...& his Wubbanubs are his "buddies"

For sound we LOVE Homedics SoundSpa - DS loves the rain setting.

DD is 14 months; she has a crocheted mini-blanket (like 1.5 feet by 1.5 feet) and a variety of stuffed animals/loveys (3 at a time?). We rotate in. She doesn't use a sound machine.

I have a basic noise machine I bought years ago which I still use with Yael. Other than that, all she goes to sleep with is her blanket and her lovey.

Andy's crib is crowded...he has about 8 Dr. Seuss stuffed animals (the ones from kohls). he also has about 4 blankets. In addition he has two light machines (he likes both), the glowing seahorse, and scout. (Which he sets off at least 10 times a night--but doesnt wake him up ).

She has a handmade blanket and her lovey "Teddy". For noise we have Scout for 10 min of bedtime music and a fan. After Scout is done we go in and put her radio on. Right now it's all Christmas.

Loey has a turtle and a puppy stuffed animal in his crib - that's it.

he doesn't use a noise machine or anything like that.... and he honestly couldn't care less if the dolls were in there or not!

He has the Tiny Love mobile (which amazingly still has the mobile attached) and two pull thingys that are attached to the side of the crib (you pull them and they play music) and a TON of blankies - he has serious blankie attachments, but not to one he has a few and he likes to smush around in them at night and in the morning. We also keep his MegaBlocks dump truck alongside the crib and when he wakes up in the morning, he pulls the blocks out and plays with them in the crib.

We just have a generic white noise machine, one that doesn't have any discernible pattern, and a blanket. He's not attached to any toy/stuffed animal but loves his blanket (i have two that I rotate, same blanket/color just diff pattern). He's a great sleeper though so we haven't ever needed anything else.

We do have a twilight turtle purchased in case we ever need it.

DD has the fisher price aquarium and the fisher price precious plant projector/mobile. We removed the mobile part and now it just projects the scenes on the ceiling and it has the music, heartbeat and nature sounds. DD loves it.

She also goes to bed with about 20 blankets and her special pillow we got from our vacation this year.

Dd (16 months) goes to sleep with one lovey and one Minnie mouse stuffed animal in the crib. Outside of the crib we have a small touch light that projects stars on the celing and she listens to a cd of lullabies on repeat to fall asleep to.

I've got a few stuffed animals in T's crib, but they're mostly there so that he doesn't wriggle up to the top and bump his head. He's never been a "lovey" type of kid! For soothers, I use either the FP Soothing Seahorse or the Aquarium. He likes both and I feel kind of lost without them. They go on immediately after bath for dressing, story time, bottle and then stay on until he falls asleep.

DD has a small Elmo, Peter Rabbit and little green horse stuffed animal plus her crocheted blanket. We also put our bathroom fan on as white noise (small house).
