Since I think I am exhausted with talking about pregnancy, engage me in some better conversations
I need to be well-rounded and discuss things other than my expanding waistline. Help me not fall into a rut. Ask me questions other than "How do you feel?"
Please? Anybody?

No. And I don't think I will buy anything from them for a while. I wrote four e-mails and nothing changed their decision.

Yeah, they don't care. We must not make up that much of their client base.

What happened after the break in? did you get any reimbursement or resolution? You might have posted, but I missed it.

Ahh, another interesting topic in my life. Well, I think I posted that we got our belongings back from the police (on Father's Day). The kid next door was the only one charged in this because they didn't have enough evidence to hold the other two. The kid got two years probation and community service.
About a month after the break in, there was a package on the front step. It was a brand new laptop that had been ordered on DH's credit card but his name was majorly mispelled. I took it in, DH called his credit card and let them know that he didn't authorize this. It seems that the card was stolen in the robbery because when I got my checkbook case back there were cards in it that weren't there originally . DH had received a new card and had activated it but not put it in his wallet (he had intended to put in the safe and only use it for certain purchases). It was in plain sight and so the kids swiped it.
Well, guess who is typing to you on a $1300 laptop
Other than that, I think DH is going to wait until the kid goes back to school and then slam the parents with a lawsuit for the damages to our wall when they pushed the attic stairs open.

Maybe I will try again. I let it rest for a while but if I bug them enough they may just want to shut me up.

I am glad you got some of your stuff back.
OK, so this is sort of pregnancy related, but will you ILs come for a visit soon after the baby is born? Are you ready for that?

Well, MIL likes to say she will be coming for a month after the baby is born. And then they will come for the christening. Fortunately, that would be too expensive to take two trips in a close amount of time so I just see them coming for the christening and when they do they will stay with my parents. Our single person guest room is going to become the nursery and we won't have any place to even set up an air mattress. Not that I see anyone even wanting to sleep on an air mattress. At that point I will be a fairly new mom who will need as much good rest as possible. FIL is permanently disabled with back trouble and I don't see him sleeping on an air mattress. My parents have the space and are generous.

Glad that it worked out for you with this situation. I remember your post in the pregnancy board.

Not sure if it is worked out entirely but the one thing I know is that no plane tickets have been purchased yet I also know that I have my own car and my own mind and if DH ever did invite his parents to stay at our home right after the baby without my consent, I would pack up baby and me and go three miles to my parents. At this point in our lives I need to come before his parents.
