Since my issue is male factor..
and my DH's insurance will be kicking in February (he has a new job), should I make an RE appt for January so I can get started on testing? The only concern I have about myself is that I always spot brown (sorry TMI) for about 3 days before AF. So I am wondering if there is a progesterone issue there...I have been taking B complex with Folic acid.

Yes. By the time they get all the preliminary blood work from you back it will be February before you really start "doing" anything.

absolutely! I have bene told spotting is nothing of concern as long as your cycles are regular.
