Since starting Zumba a year ago (and yes - this IS a brag post!!!)
I have lost 15 lbs!
I have to say - getting back to my wedding weight was a goal I was on the fence about. I always hoped, but in the back of my mind, kept a realistic view that having a baby in my 30's, my body just might not bounce back.
I have done every workout imaginable. But Zumba has impacted my life on many levels (most of my posts on here are about Zumba) - it helped me get over my depression last year (which was pretty severe - if some of you remember what I went through). I really focused on how it affected me mentally, and never stepped foot on a scale unless I had a doctor appointment.
Well, yesterday at the doctor, I couldn't believe what the number said. I lost 5 lbs alone in the last few weeks because of some small changes I made to my food intake due to my IBS...
I just wanted to share. I hope to get together with you guys one of these days to do a class together! I haven't been able to get to BUCD in ages - but hopefully we can swing a Tues GTG!

That is great!! I am so happy for you. What i love about Zumba is that it doesnt even feel like "work" ...you dance and move and sweat and have fun!!!

I tell people it's the quickest hour of your life! That's why I love Zumbathons - they always go past 1 hr!
