Yes another swingset post....for 1 year old.
I'm looking for something plastic, sturdy, with a bucket swing for dd - playhouse - she's going to be 1 soon. I'd like something we can put together quickly and easily. And I am prepared to replace it with something bigger and sturdier down the line.
She isn't walking yet but will be soon I think. We have a nice sized yard.
Thanks for any suggestions....and sorry for another swingset post!

Little Tikes is the one I was looking at in plastic.
2-6 years old
You can buy the bucket seat separately.
The swingalong castle is very small but great for very young children.
1-4 years old

1st one is available at TRU or online but watch for shipping. about $399
The 2nd one (I just updated). about $120. I did not search on this one.'
Step 2 also have sets.

We have this one for DD and it's perfect. It's jsut enough adventure for her. It has a little play space under the platform to the slide & DD is forever in and out of it.

I tried, and Once Upon a Child - they said they come in towards the middle of the summer and I wanted to have it up for Ale's party.

Yes, I wish I had seen that earlier but it's only Sunday and Monday. So I will check tomorrow myself if it's still on sale.
I can't order online. The shipping and handling is about $200 for that set. Nuts!!!!!

we just got DD the first one posted-little tikes i think. it is really cute. it is on the small side however, but i didn't want a monstrous one. for now this one is perfect. i feel like that next year when she is really climbing all over it, i won't get too freaked out b/c the set is small.
so, that said we are happy with it and so is DD! she loves going on the swing (bought bucket swing separate).

we have this one. think we paid 399 or 499 last year. got it from woodkingdom. they charged us 50 and installed and delivered it to us. olivia loves it. sorry i dont have any pictures of her using it. we have the neighbor kids go on it too. our yard it kinda small so it fits perfect. olivia loves the clubhouse underneath and the slide. That's the one we have. It lists for $499 on Step 2 website.

This one looks REALLY small. The little boy on the left is on his knees! I think you would only really get 1 season out of it.

It think it's too small. I don't think DS would use for more than 2 years. He is on the taller side already.

I have this one and DS is 2 and DD will be 1 in July and it's good. I actually bought it from my friend for $200 and it is only a year old. Then I bought the bucket seats that are also little tikes. DS still prefers to go to the park and I think it is because he can play with other kids. He can climb it no problem and I think it is perfect for his age. I had the same intentions as you, Kara. DH wanted to go right for the big one but I didn't want to sit their all day to make sure he wasn't going to fall.
Look on craigslist too. Part of me is glad that I didn't pay full price because he doesn't use it at much as I thought he would.
