Sinus Headache

Ladies, I need your help. I need suggestions on how to get rid of a sinus headache. I have had it for two days. Before I was PG I would take a sudafed; I cannot take that now. I left a message with my Dr.'s office and I am waiting for them to call back. TIA

Why won't your doctor let you take Sudafed? Everybody else's doctor tells them they can take it. (Tylenol Sinus is Tylenol plus Sudafed).

Re: Sinus Headache

I would take plain tylenol and a hot shower or bath and breath the steam and also "inhale" the hot water....like when you breath underwater....you blow bubbles out your nose...I'd do this with the hot water and it helped so much.

Re: Sinus Headache

I was allowed to take Sudafed or Tylenol Sinus. I used the tylenol sinus...

Sorry I have not responded in a few days, I have not been feeling well. I am feeling better today. Chat Icon

FYI...My OB and my pharmacist told me that Sudafed passes through the placenta. Therefore, all I can take is Claritin. Claritin does not pass through the placenta. I can also take Afrin spray for 3-5 days at night as needed until the congestion goes away.

Re: Sinus Headache

My doctor told me I could take Sudafed (I think its Sudafed PE). My friends dr said she could take Afrin so Ive used that a couple of times. Ive also taken Tylenol for the pain. None of it takes the edge off completely but it helps some. Showers didnt help me at all Feel better!Chat Icon
