Sinus headaches - who else suffers from them on a regular basis?
I am SO fed up with these sinus headaches!!! I am really dreading the Spring and allergy season. I've been getting them SO bad lately and very frequently too. 2 of my co-workers also have been suffering like I have been.
anyone else?

I get them. I don't practice what I preach but you have to keep up on nasal sprays, anti-histamines and pain meds.

I use a cool air mist humidifier at night and it makes a tremendous difference.

I just bought one a few weeks ago, when I got a killer sinus infection and being preggo there is not much I can take. This was my lifesaver at night!

Me...raises hand. The only thing that really works for me is being consistant with taking my allergy meds...which I'm not good at. I do find LOTS of relief by using Nasacort/Nasonex everyday.

ME!! I use a nasal irrigation system. I've also realized that cutting out dairy and any kind of simple sugars have greatly helped. Greatly. Read this book: Sinus Survival by Robert S. Ivker
Edited to include how important it is for me not to get too much sleep on the weekends.

they're inexpensive and easy to use. I use it almost every night.

Re: Sinus headaches - who else suffers from them on a regular basis?
I have been getting bad sinus headaches lately, and now actually I have had one since yesterday, where my ears feel like they are clogged and my neck, and shoulders feel stiff also.
Anyone get this? Scott

Allegra or Allegra D & Nasonex a friend at work takes Allegra, she also goes for allergy shots once a week, every week. she's also had surgery on her sinuses. So I thought Allegra might be too strong for me since I don't have allergies to anything that I know of....
but maybe I will ask my Doc about it
