DH has a lifetime subscription to Sirius and we both drive older cars so we have only been using the little radios/attachments you can buy at Best Buy. I'm sure if we bought a new car we could just transfer the subscriptions over to the car's stereo system.

Anyway, I bought him a newer Sirius radio last year at Best Buy and it's already giving us problems. I don't have the receipt anymore (kept it for six mos) but I bought it with my AmEx -- should I try to return it to Best Buy or should I just assume they'll give me trouble and call AmEx and ask for their assistance? IMO, for the radio to work less than a year is unacceptable. Plus, if I buy a new one, I'll have to transfer his subscription -- if Best Buy replaces the unit, will I still need to transfer the subscription or can I get a 'credit' for the transfer? I believe it's $75 for each additional transfer past the first two?

TIA.
