SIRM girls
Does anyone know what days the NYC lab is closed for the December holidays? I asked in the Westchester office, but they had to call the NYC office and I didn't feel like I got a clear answer. I may just have to call myself.
Thanks!

UPDATE re: SIRM lab hours
So, I asked the receptionist at the NYC office when I was there for my last IUI what days the lab is closed for the holidays. (It's somewhat complicated, but for my IUIs I need the lab.) Anyway, they told me the lab is closed from the 17th through the new year. Has anyone heard anything different? I'm so confused b/c this is so different from what Lisa (Westchester office) told me when she called the NYC office (weeks ago). Then again, she hasn't always been the most accurate in delivering information to or from me, so who knows. If the lab is open during the week between XMas and New Year's, it would make all the difference for my cycle. (Yes, I am planning my next cycle a day before my first beta - BFN 2 days in a row.)

Re: SIRM girls
Hmmn...not sure as I am supposed to have betas there the week of the 20th. I know that they expect the December IVF cyclers to be done earky this week. I would call and ask specifically what you mean. Do you mean will they be able to test your E2 and such with an IUI during this time? It seems to me that they will not schedule you for an IUI during this time period unless that can do the labs.
I will say that most IVF labs close during the week between Xmas and New Years.

Maybe they'll send your bloods out to quest? I'll tell dr Browne about the conflicting info I've gotten when she calls me with my negative beta results Maybe she can get someone to give an accurate response.

Hmmn..well if that's the case, I can save a trip into the city and just go to Quest myself as they gave me a prescription to go to my own lab if I desired...i will check tomorrow too.
BTW...sorry about the BFN

Re: SIRM girls
I found out that yes...the lab will be closed...at least next week so I assume that it will e closed during the week between Xmas and New Year's too. I'm glad you brought this up...now I will just get my bloods done near my office.
