Sleep deprived...what's going on? Need help
I thought after the last tooth pushed through that sleep would go back to normal for a month so (until another tooth pops through).
Well, for the past 2 weeks we have been having some tough times with sleep. Sabrina goes to bed fine but somewhere between 2-5AM, she cries out and it gets louder. We go to get her, she isn't awake or even flailing in bed, just crying. I pat her a little to soothe her, she wakes up and cries louder. I pick her up and attempt to console her and she screams louder. I bring her in bed with us thinking that is what she wants and it gets worse. She arches her back and screams like she is in pain. I walk with her and that calms her down but when I try to lay down she arches her back and carries on again. I turn on the light and she settles a bit and I end up nursing her back to sleep.
Last night she woke up at 2AM same way, but I turned on the light and decided to let her walk around. BAD idea. She laughed and giggled and thought it was playtime and then screamed when I turned off the light and said it was time to go to bed.
It hasn't been every night, thankfully but it has been at least 5 times in the past two weeks.
Any ideas of what it could be? The back arching made me think gas but I am not sure.
Any suggestions of what to do?

If she's not sick def Sounds like nightmares or night terrors. They aren't really awake when it happens and they are crying/screaming and you can't comfort them. Going in, my ped told me makes it worse-cause it actually wakes them up.
My oldest stands or sits up screaming crying bloody murder, but there's no tears, her eyes are closed-sometimes it's a couple mins, sometimes it's 5 min, then she just plops down and goes back to sleep.
We only go in when i can see her eyes open on the monitor and can hear the cry change and i know there's tears.
So sorry A couple mins feels like an eternity, Dh and i almost cried together in bed ourselves so many times i can't tell you We just sit and pray she doesn't wake up the other one.
Def mention it to the PED though next time

Thanks. I was thinking it might be nightmares especially when coming into our bed didn't help.
I hope this isn't something to go on for years. If I can't get two consecutive good nights of sleep for a number of years I might have a nervous breakdown. I have trouble falling asleep to begin with so by time I fall asleep she wakes up. Sunday night and last night I got 2 hours sleep each night
Anybody have anything optimistic to tell me? Please?
