Sleep/ Infant Positioner
What are your thoughts on them? Did you use them when your newborns were sleeping in their bassinets?

Re: Sleep/ Infant Positioner
I used one while DD was in her bassinet. We moved her into her crib at 3 months and then stopped using it.

Re: Sleep/ Infant Positioner
Never used one. Consumer reports doesn't recommend them due to possibility of hte child to smother in them....

Re: Sleep/ Infant Positioner
I used one in the basinet. I liked it because DS never liked being swaddled, so this kept him "contained" and helped him sleep.

Re: Sleep/ Infant Positioner
I registered for one, never used it and returned it. I thought it wasn't necessary.

I agree, the AAP recommends against them too.
DD slept fine without one.

Re: Sleep/ Infant Positioner
I got this one and the first night I put her in it she slept through the night and has every night since...well worth the $$$$ she has reflux and up until we got this she wouldn't sleep at all!!!

I just recently put her in her big girl crib without it and had a hard time staying asleep she has outgrown it but I am thinking of trying again and see if that helps her reflux is still pretty bad sometimes

Re: Sleep/ Infant Positioner
I used one for exactly ONE night with DS#2. In the middle of the night I went in to check on him, and he had scooted down somehow, and had his face pressed up against the side of the positioner. I threw it right out.

Re: Sleep/ Infant Positioner
I used one in the bassinet at first when DD was a baby. When she was a newborn, she was too small to roll over anyway so it wasn't necessary. Once she started being able to wiggle & roll, the darn thing didn't really stop her anyway. It made me more nervous having it in there & I took it out. We don't have one at all for DS since I realized last time it was a waste.

I used one and still do (DD is 3 months). She still gets swaddled too.

We used one for 8 weeks. Then we started putting her in the crib and just stopped one day.

Re: Sleep/ Infant Positioner
I realize this is an old thread but I was wondering which sleep positioner everyone used. I am unsure which one I should get.
Thanks!
