Just to add, night wakings like you describe are very common at your daughter's age. You are lucky that just rubbing her back and giving a paci puts her back to sleep.

If it doesn't change on its own and you are fed up after another month or so, you can try CIO, but I wouldn't do that yet when she goes back to sleep so easily with a small amount of comforting and it could be temporary.

Re: sleep issue HELP!!!!!!

The same thing happened to me the last 2 nights. Sophie has been sleeping for a few weeks straight through but the last 2 nights she gets up crying for her pacifier. Once I put it back in, she's fine.. But last night she got up 3 times looking for it. I can't keep running and putting it back in. She's only 3 1/2 months though so I think she's a little too little for CIO. Although she woke up around 6 am looking for it and by the time DH got in there, she put herself back to sleep. SO maybe she can CIO for a few minutes?

Sorry to hijack your thread but I can relate!
