Sleep Question- Toddlers
Ok, so DS JUST turned 2 and is a DREAM at bedtime and naptime. Same routine EVERY single night since he was an infant. Bath, milk, stories, song then lay down, cover up and out he goes. Well JUST THIS WEEK he is giving me trouble at night. Won't let me read, cries when I try to sing to him, fusses when I turn the light out THEN wants me to sing Sunshine (You Are My SUnshine). THen cries for me to stop, then wants down and this is a vicious cycle. I'm NOT used to this. Is this just a normal phase that will pass? Is there something I can do?
TIA! Nighttime is usually my LEAST stressful time of night and now it's becoming a lot less relaxing for the both of us......

Re: Sleep Question- Toddlers
My DD will be 2 in a few weeks & we were having almost the same problem a few weeks ago....It lasted until this past weekend & now we have our angel back She fought us on EVERYthing that was part of her normal routine & was having fits if she didn't get what she wanted when she wanted it. We just stood our ground & now we are back to normal. Smiley happy good baby !!!! Good luck to you, I hope it gets better soon!

I swear Jack went through something similar for about a week and thankfully it passed. I kept everything exactly the same and didn't change a thing!

Jacob went through that when he turned 2 but it passed! It was rough though!

Re: Sleep Question- Toddlers
I find with sleep, it gets better, then worse, then better again, then worse. It's a vicious cycle. Just know that it is a stage that will pass. I know it's hard being patient!
