Sleeping

How bad is it that I wake up on my back all the time? I fall asleep on the left side and always roll over when I wake up but it's so hard! Is it really bad???? How do you make sure you sleep right? There is no more room in my queen bed for more pillows. It's me the dog and my 6'4" 250 lb. DH.

Re: Sleeping

I slept on my back until it became uncomfortable which wasnt until about 30 weeks. My dr assured me it was fine as my BP was good and I was feeling good, she said the most important thing was for me to sleep.

Re: Sleeping

I almost always woke up on my back through most of the pregnancy. I discussed it with my doctor and she said that it was OK. As you get bigger, you'll realize that you will spend a lot less time on your back.

I sleep on the couch now, so I'm always on my side...

Re: Sleeping

Thanks girls. I feel a little better now. I will just mention it to my doctor on Monday. I guess if it were doing anything that bad I would not feel so comfortable.
