Sleeping on Belly Question
My son is 7 months old. He HATES to roll. He has rolled both ways, but months ago. Now he only rolls from his back to his belly, and cries until someone moves him (he has always HATED HATED to be on his belly). He is doing everything else, hes been sitting for more than 2 months, and now he is pulling himself up to stand (so Im not concerned).
But tonight he fell asleep on his belly for the first time. I am so nervous. Please tell me that he'll be okay

Re: Sleeping on Belly Question
Does he do push ups?
DS started sleeping on his belly four nights ago - I was a mess - but he can really lift his body up so that makes me feel better.
He will be ok!

Re: Sleeping on Belly Question
I am sure he will be fine. DS ALWAYS slept on his back, until he could roll over on his own. When he is out of the crib and awake, he doesnt like being on his belly (he flips himself to his back). However he ALWAYS sleeps on his belly. At first I freaked out and was watching him (on the video monitor) like a hawk every 5 minutes. But we've gotten better and calmed down!

Re: Sleeping on Belly Question
DS started rolling over a few weeks ago. He is now 4 months and now he rolls over in his sleep.
We put him down on his back, but he ends up on his tummy. We panicked at first, but took out the bumpers and stopped swaddling him to ease our minds.
We now feel that as long as he is strong enough to get over to his tummy, his neck is strong enough to turn his head.
At 7 months I am sure he is fine!!! (doesn't stop us from worrying though! )

Re: Sleeping on Belly Question
Sydney does not like to be on her belly unless she's on my chest. But like my mom always tells me..."You slept on belly and you survived".
