Sleeping problems

My DD has been getting up at around 4 am for the past 2 weeks. Its annoying yes, but ive been dealing with it. At least im getting 6 hours of sleep. It could be worse. So im somewhat grateful.

I just have tons of problems putting her back down after i feed her. She doesnt want to go back to bed and she is too young to CIO. This morning my DH was trying to rock her and i just kept hearing her coo and talk. So he just gave up. I tried the other day and she finally fell asleep but the minute i put her down she is up again. Im at a loss at what to do. If she stays up for like an hour or 2 she will then go back with no problem. She was up at 4 this morning around 530 i put her in the swing and she was out like a light. I totally didnt want to sit in the room and rock her for 1/2 hour and then chance her waking up again. It so frustrating to rock her for that long and all then have to start all over again. Am I doing somethign wrong???

Re: Sleeping problems

would you consider feeding her while she is laying down in the crib?

That's what I did. As long as I caught him before he was hysterical, I would feed him in the crib then he would fall right back asleep. If I picked him up, that's it, he was up for the long haul.
