Slomins heating is the absolute worst !!!
We have small children and we have heat in only half our home. Two bedrooms and bathrooms don't have heat. We are paying for a contract. It is Sat.they have workers that can come but they will not send them because they feel this is not an emergency being that some of the rooms have heat. They said they can be here on Tuesday. Their web site says they respond promptly LOL. I am so upset. The rooms with out heat are 50 degrees.

My brother has a service contract with them. A few weeks ago he had to go out and diesel because they ran out of oil and for a week straight they kept telling him someone would be there "tomorrow" for the scheduled delivery...

Slomins heating is the absolute worst !!!
We have Slomins and last night had an issue where our heat wasn't working. DH called around 6:30 and a service guy was in my house by 7:40. Quick fix and done.
ETA: Maybe because it was a Friday and not a Saturday?

Same thing happened to my sister last week. Call back and insist they come. She did and they were there by the end of the day.

tell them... i have small children here and we are freezing. with a contract they should be more prompt. make monday morning at least. not until tuesday. I'd complain.

Call back and say you now have NO heat in any rooms ar all. Now it's an emergency.
When they get there and see you actually have heat in some rooms say...jeez it wasn't working in those other rooms when I called. Strange!!

Slomins heating is the absolute worst !!!
Everyone keeps talking how good the oil price is. But this service call issue is something that comes all the time. I'm sorry you have to deal with this but I have always felt they are not a great company.
Call them back and say you have no heat period.

i have such an issue with their service. used to have the same issues with their alarm svc. i am switching back to meenan.

I switch back and forth between Slomins and Meenan. We had an issue last winter with Slomins where we lost heat. They came right away and took care of it so I was happy.
