slow cooker question??????????
I found a recipe for beef goulash on here but it is a slow cooker recipe. I do not own a slow cooker---can you just make it in a regular pot?
And if you can, if it calls for 8 hours, how long would you cook it on the stove top??

Not sure how it would work with a regular pot...I have seen recipes for Dutch ovens but not sure how that would translate from a slow cooker recipe....why not do a search on the internet

I would cook it till it is soft. HTH. get a slow cooker- you will love it , it is like someone else is cooking for you all day!
