Put roast in pot and dump a bottle of italian dressing over it and cook for 6-7 hours on low.

Re: Slow Cooker Recipe for a Beef Round Roast Rump?
This is what I usually do:
1. Season the roast with salt and pepper and brown it on all sides on the stove (it only takes like 2 or 3 minutes).
2. Put in a bunch of fingerling or small red potatoes at the bottom, along with a few handfuls of baby carrots.
3. Add 5 or 6 smashed garlic cloves. I love garlic!
4. Place the browned roast on top of the vegetables.
5. Cover the roast with a packet of onion dip mix.
6. Pour beef broth into the crock pot, enough to cover the vegetables and some of the roast.
7. Optional: Sprinkle with finely chopped rosemary (one or two sprigs).
8. Set slow cooker on low for 6 - 8 hours. Sometimes I do high for 1 hour and then low for another 5 hours.

Re: Slow Cooker Recipe for a Beef Round Roast Rump?
I have 2 standbys:
1) Place roast in CP. Pour two cans of diced tomatoes over. Dollop a few spoons of minced garlic on top (to taste). Cook on high 4-6 or low 8-10. Serve with orzo.
2) Put meat in CP. Pour two cans of cream of mushroom soup on top. Sprinkle powdered onion soup mix on top. Cook as above. You can thicken gravy with cornstarch dissolved in water and I usually add a little bit of gravy master. Serve with potatoes.

I do this, but I use an onion cut up instead of garlic.

Re: Slow Cooker Recipe for a Beef Round Roast Rump?
I just made this. So easy and delish!
1. Cut up onions, carrots, and potatoes and place in bottom of crockpot. 2. Place Meat on top. 3. Put BBQ sauce, chopped garlic, a little bit of mustard and ketchup on top.
Cook for 6 hours.
It's a 1 pot meal! :)
