Small venue for a bridal shower
Can anyone suggest a small place (25-30 people) for a shower in Nassau? TIA!

Crabtree's in Floral Park
Waterzooi in Garden City
Been to both for showers and left with a very full belly.

Someone else suggested Waterzooi to me. It looks like a cool place, but do they serve anything besides seafood? That's all I've ever gotten there.

Yes - it was a buffet brunch and I'm vegetarian (a no-seafood veg) and there was plenty of food for me to eat, for sure. They probably have a catering menu posted on their website.

Yup. I've been to, and hosted a party here myself.
Food is delicious and it is extremely budget friendly.

Re: Small venue for a bridal shower
I had my sister's shower at Sergios and I will say it was just okay. Before the party, the owner seemed friendly, personable, and easy to work with. The day of the party, the owner was very difficult. It was like 100 degrees outside (summer 2010) and he refused to turn on the AC in the separate dining area until the party start time. I had to fight with him to turn it on early so the guests would be comfortable when they arrived. He also handed out pamphlets DURING the shower to all guests telling them that they should book their parties there. I will say they are reasonably priced and the food tasted fine - that's why I picked them.

Eeeeek! I've never heard this but thanks for sharing.
Both parties I was part of were in the winter months and I don't recall them handing out any pamphlets. That's pretty tacky!!!

Re: Small venue for a bridal shower
I had a private room for 25 people at Bulldog Grille in Amityville (right on the border of Massapequa) What I loved about it was the food selection was different. I feel like every shower I have been to its chicken parm, eggplant parm and fish dish.
