Small World LIF Thread....
...anyone else have an LIF Small World anecdote???
For me....
Lipglossjunky73 worked with my eldest daughter a few years ago when we were in South Huntington School District.
Goldi0218 went to graduate school with my DH....
Anyone else???

I'm a Cali girl and discovered that there are two other LIF'ers that grew up for a time where I did before their families moved to the East Coast. Same neighborhood area etc.

I went to HS with one LIF regular. I am really surprised that I have not found anyone from my college dorm or the summer camps I went to. Oh, I was into competitive roller skating as a kid (just like ice figure skating but they have the same thing for roller skaters) and one LIFer trained with the same skating coaches as me but we didn't think we remembered each other.

I found someone I went to HS & college with. Someone also had the same ballet instructor as me.
The small world for me was finding an LIFer who lived about 10 houses down from me & two who lived around the corner.

There are a couple people on here that I know in RL, but didn't know they were on here until something happened and they FM'd me.
Preguntas works with my friend.
And there is another girl on here who is close friends with DH's friend.

Aliaspook and Dawnie's mom used to babysit me when I was 3 years old. We reconnected when we were planning our weddings LIW.

I worked at a summer camp with PreshusSmurf's DH about 12 or 13 years ago. I also bought all of wedding invitations (wedding, shower, rehearsal dinner, thank you cards) from PreshusSmurf's store. I had no idea she was a LIW bride at the time either.

I went to HS with MrsPJs husband. I recognized him while looking at the random albums in "community."
I recognized a few FHs on LIW too.

i am good friends with Katie111806's best friend, we found each other on there on the TTC board
there is also a newer member on here that i went to HS with, but she graduated the year before me (csorisi).
that's all as far as i know...

I went to HS with an LIFer and I went to elementary school with Tilde's hubby. I saw a pic of her and her Dh on LIW and I think I sent her an FM like
"OMG!!! I know your FH!"

A poster is the SIL of DH's best friend. DH knows her husband and her ILs. I met her a few times at her BIL's house. And will most likely see her again.
We did not know who we were until she saw a pic of DS on a post and recognized him. We were posting on each other's thread not knowing who we were.

I realized just last week that my dh's good friend's wife is a regular poster on here! It spooked me a bit, but she'll never know because I'm in hiding!
ETA: I almost forgot! I also used to work with another LIFer...I'm ttc, though, so I won't come out to her until I've got some really good news

I graduated HS with 2 LIFers.
I found a long time friend of my cousins.
Last fall I joined a library group in my hometown and met 2 LIFers there. I didn't know they lived in the area.

Ummm... it was about 5 houses down
We lived together on the same block for about a year and a half and never met until I moved to the other side of town. Nrthshgrl even FM'ed me when my house was for sale and said it "looked familiar"... DUH, it's on your block
Another two LIF'ers lived behind me.
