I am struggling with this one LOL ,tell me about it . It's a Manhattan cruise party over $1000 per person (it's paid for) so I am very confused what does a smart casual attire mean in this case

Re: smart casual attire
I would wear a black dress or black suit with a sexy tank under it

Re: smart casual attire
smart is the equivalint to professional in british "speak"
this will hep you
casual - khakis or short, right
smart casual = professional casual = comfortable yet not looking sloppy. to me its 1 step up from casual friday wear.
wear something business like-yet feminine and comfortable
the outfits conigs posted would be perfect

Re: smart casual attire
Business casual
It is a British term and means no jeans or sneakers. Don't wear a business suit. Nice dress pants and a nice top. I wouldn't wear a sundress or anything of the like. Banana Republic fits nicely into the definition.
Who wrote smart casual? You don't see that often in the US.
