Smart Casual Wedding Attire?
I'm going up to a wedding in the New Paltz area for a college roomie. The invite said "smart casual attire". It's at a country club. What should I wear? And what should DH wear?

Re: Smart Casual Wedding Attire?
From the attire description, I would have DH wear a shirt with no tie and nice khaki pants... MAYBE a jacket, MAYBE. For me, I would wear a cute sundress with low heels.
When in doubt... call/email the bride.

That's what I was figuring! I had already asked the bride what I should wear and she said, whatever you want! You always look great!

Re: Smart Casual Wedding Attire?
J - what about a cute dress from J.Crew for yourself and a nice pair of khakis and a polo for R?
Maybe something like this? Not too dressy, not too casual...
Also - what time of day is the wedding?

Thanks V! It's a Saturday night wedding. I was thinking of something from J. Crew!
