Snaps in Wantagh
Tonight we had a girls only early bird dinner because the only reservation we could get at snaps was 5:30.
I'm actually glad we went early because the place gets packed.
The food was out of this world delicious! I had a chicken wonton appetizer and braised short rib Wellington with puréed parsnips and grilled asparagus with a mushroom Cabernet sauce. OMG it was so good. I tried my friends Gnocchi Ragu and penne alla vodka with crispy prosciutto.
Everyone loved their dishes and I will definitely be back.

I love that place! Never had a bad meal there but it definitely gets very packed

Love Snaps! It is small and does get crowded, but it's good for dinner for two or a weeknight girls' night. Good food, good cocktails/wine.

I went there for a bridal shower and it was buffet so I got to taste a bunch of things , the food was amazing . I keep wanting to go back for dinner. I am going to try one day during the week, maybe it wont be as busy.

I had the braised pork wellington on Sunday... Fan-freakin-tabulous! I also love their lobster mac n cheese... and their gnocchi is amazing!
