Snow amounts. This year or last winter
Last winter was nice seeing all that snow but now that I don't live on the island anymore all I hear about is the snow in NY and aren't you glade your not living there anymore. I'm like no.

Last year wasn't comparable to this year. We've had more snow in the last week and a half than we had all of last winter.

I thought when you lived in LI you hated it?
All you talked about was Cali and how you loved it there...
Now you miss it?

I really do miss LI. I just had it bad when I first moved there. 3 days after arriving i took my dad to the hospital and then he was in and out of a nursing home for 3 years until his death. Most of my time was spent in a hospital, or the nursing home. I didn't get a chance to see much of the island. Thank god for Jeannine and her family. If it weren't for them I don't know what I would have done "I had no one you see"  Looking back at what I saw that I thought I didn't like about the island I really liked and it either made me smile or laugh. So yes I do have a change of heart.  And my co-workers here are sick and tried of my LI stories
