Snow blower recommendations
I used to live near my parents, but I am now living in the city (so I can't help them shovel).
I was thinking if I should get them a snow blower.
Their house isn't that big, typical Queens ranch. 1 car driveway, and a sidewalk (maybe 60 feet long?)
For something like this, I doubt I need one of those big gas powered ones. (plus the tiny garage has no space to hold it) But those handheld electric ones seem to run pretty crappy.
Anyone here have any experience with snow blowers? recommendations?
Thanks

Re: Snow blower recommendations
We got the Snow Trek one from Home Depot last year. It's functional for our home - not large, but tiny enough to fit in our garage and do our small driveway.

Is that one of those gas powered/lawn mower sized?
I think that might be too much blower for them.
Right now, once they park the car in the garage, they can barely get out of the car, so I doubt this can fit in there. Plus, it might be too big for them to move around
Thanks

It's this one. It is gas powered, but I am able to run this machine when DH is busy. It's self-propelled. I just have to guide it. I don't know if it's 20" or 24" Home Depot Sno-Tek snow blowers.
The other option to look into is the electric snow blower (looks like a shovel, but it blows the snow instead of having to lift it). My ILs have this and find it easy to use and safer since they have multiple cars in driveway.
My parents hire a service to come and plow their driveway.

Yeah, thats the one I mentioned in the first post: But those handheld electric ones seem to run pretty crappy.
I've seen people try to use it, and they stick it in a pile of snow and it kind of just sits there not doing much, lol.
But I think that might be the only option =/
