Snow Blowers

I know its a little early, but I was thinking about getting DH one for Christmas..

I know he wants gas powered, but after that I am clueless.

Any recommendations?

One that is self propelled. They are more expensive but worth it!! We have a Craftsman one that we love.

Re: Snow Blowers

Make sure that you get one that can have the snow blower part (the chute) that can turn in multiple directions. This way, as the wind changes, you can change the direction to where the snow is being thrown to, so you don't get socked in the face with cold snow.

Try Consumer Guide - they can help you with what's the best quality and price

I got DH one last Christmas. Best gift ever! It was electric though, we don't have sidewalks to do, just our big driveway.

Re: Snow Blowers

my dad has a gas powered one and he's had problems with it (but its about 6 yrs old now). Luckily he bought it in Home Depot and they have always repaired it for free. Great service with it.
