Snow Day Cooking!!!!
Who's home and what are you making?
I think I'll start the morning with choc chip pancakes! I picked up a roast yesterday to throw in the crock pot today (I figured comfort snow food!) but DH want's me to stick to the souvlaki I had originally planned! He also requested Chicken Soup for lunch. I might even do some baking too!

Re: Snow Day Cooking!!!!
I was thinking of Balsamic Glazed Chicken with rice for dinner and I may make split pea or lentil soup as well for lunch.

Re: Snow Day Cooking!!!!
I'm home!
I made spinach, tomato and onion omelettes for breakfast with a little feta. Served with toast. OJ for the boys and Latte's for Rob and I.
Lunch will be BLT Sandwiches with extra T - served with Dill pickle spears and Kettle Chips.
And I bumped the planned Chicken Burgers tonight in favor of roasting a chicken with cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce, brussel sprouts and rice with gravy.
Also have some Oatmeal Raisin cookies cooling on the counter for when those boys finally come back in from the backyard!!

Re: Snow Day Cooking!!!!
DH made chocolate chip waffles this morning.
Lunch will be light as I am still on a diet.
For dinner I will be making a big pot of split pea soup with some bread on the side.
Nothing to elaborate but I need to look good in a bathing suit come April.

Re: Snow Day Cooking!!!!
I've been home since Friday!
On Saturday I made baklava muffins. I may make almond cookies tomorrow if I'm off still. The other night I made a great veal tomato sauce. It was so yummy and we had it with whole wheat shells.
