so Allison had her 10 month check up and she is a BIG girl...question included

she is 29 1/2 inches ( 90%) and 24lbs(97%). The dr said its fine becasue sh is just a big kid all around and she was 10lbs at birth.
She is starting whole milk tomorrow. he said to gradually wean her off the formula and he also said to wean her off the bottle . So i said i have tried it and she has no interest. he said if you give her no other options she will have no choice. i am so nervus to do that i feel bad. youthnk she'll get it. He said she is a smart kid give her 3 days max.
What do you think?

Otherwise she is great. she got some shots she cried but no reactiona nd we just cme back form dinnera dn she was a dfoll as always when out.. its at hoem she has her meltdowns HAHAHA

I personally agree with him to some extent. Can she drink from a cup at all? straw? I tried giving Gillian a sippy cup at the drs request at 7 months and she also has no interest. I then met a woman that told me her dd never had any interest and went from the bottle to a cup. Maybe you could try giving her a regular cup instead of a sippy?

Wow! What a big girl! You're already starting whole milk? I thought you weren't suppose until 1 year old?

DD doesn't have any interest in a sippy cup...but I do have the nuby sippy cup that has a straw...and she loves that one. So, there are different kinds you can try. DD is also 10 months.

I would love to start the milk at 10.5 months old. Save some money on formula!!! Connor is big like your daughter so it would probably be ok. I started Caiden I think at 11 months. It's so hard to remember. Isn't it weird how every doctor has a different opinion?
