So angry with Bellini right now and at my wits end! WWYD
So for those of you that saw my post i posted on thursday that my crib was delivered smelling very strongly of paint. Well I spoke with bellini twice on thursday and they said - it happens sometimes just air it out for a few days - so since thursday i have had the windows open and a fan blowing in the babies room 24/7 - the room still stinks today. I refuse to put my baby in a room that stinks like paint so i have been having him sleep with us and have moved all his stuff into the guest room.
So i call to complain again today because my dresser is being delivered (note that this was yet ANOTHER screw up on Bellini's part when they forgot to deliver my dresser on Thursday so they had to ruin yet another whole day waiting around for them today -this was after they rescheduled me so they could deliver both from tues. to thurs)...customer service tells me that the delivery man who is coming to deliver the crib will solve all my problems - he will look at the crib and tell me what to do - ok,this sounds weird but fine. he comes and is now telling me it is the room that smells it is not the crib...UM, HELLO..there is NOTHING ELSE IN THE ROOM!!!! I just moved in and the room was smelling perfectly fine until the darn crib came reaking of varnish. So I call customer service back who continues to give me the blah blah air it out nonsense but I mean COME ON...since thursday i have not been able to go into the babies room to set it up for him...how long do i have to deal with this for? And, how the heck am I going to get rid of this smell? I refuse to open the door to the room because I do not want the smell to infect my whole house because I do not think it is safe for an infant to be breathing in these fumes. So I call the woman back and tell her that the delivery guy basically did nothing and she says she will need to talk to him and call me backk....surprise surprise she had yet to call me back.
I just don't know what to do? Should I ask for a new crib? What if that one smells too? Should I just return all the furniture and start again somewhere else? I really don't want to do this because he is 3 mos and really needs to be in his crib already!
Ugh...I am so frustrated. Sorry for the long vent but I just don't know what to do anymore and you know what...this furniture was not cheap!!!!!!!!!!! I should not be dealing with this Thanks for reading if you made it this far!

You should insist on speaking with management and tell them that have to do something to rectify this situation. You have a baby that can't even be in the room with the crib, let alone sleep in it. That's totally unacceptable. Tell them that they must do something....send a new crib ASAP...fine...take it all back and give full credit...fine BUT not doing anything....not fine! I'd be fuming! Tell them you are considering placing a complaint with Better Business Bureau.....believe me, they don't want to hear that.
