so did this happen to any other moms who wento to a NYE party that had adults and kids...
The women were the primary care takers of the kiddies while the men dranks, played darts, sang kareoke etc etc.. I swear all the men including my dh were find with the kids in the early part of the night but come like 10 it was all about the guys.. i am exhausted and meanwhile dh is sleeping off a hangover on the couch...

We all were together in fact my DH actually let me have the break and watched Sara as she continued to go up and down the stairs 100 times

No we always tag team at partys...in fact DH laid with her while she went to sleep so I could stay out at the party

We just had a small gathering at my house - I did the cooking and DD was the only baby so family played with her.
Today however - I have a huge hangover. DH has taken care of breakfast (for guests), the dog, DD and clean-up -- as well as doing laundry.
But I am sure, had we been in your situation, he would have been hanging with the guys while I took care of DD.

We went to a friends at 4pm and left by 8pm to put the baby to bed (she's a bit under the weather) but the entire 4 hours I chased the baby around while he ate, drank and hung with his friends. I think he assumed since I'm prego and can't drink I wouldn't mind Usually he's pretty good about sharing the responsibility but last night I did notice ALL the mommy's with the kids while the men were having fun.

this happens at alot of our functions. the guys always wind up in the man cave however this year we had people over so I told Dh to keep it to a min with that bs and he did. Not to say that he wasnt in the man cave a few times but less than usual

Im sure my DH would love a chance to simply hang out with the guys..but kids LOVE him and they are always following him around. He's like the pied piper at parties with all the rugrats.

I went to a party last night and it was just the opposite...the guys and kids were all in one room, and the women were all in the kitchen drinking Prosecco and gabbing away. In the end, when it was time for the kiddies to go to bed...THE MEN DID IT.

sounds a whole lot like my Christmas Eve. Drove through the night to have it with his family in FL.
I am not sure why I was unpacking the car, feeding the baby and giving him a bath while he is at the table being served dinner and already drinking.
The next day he was on duty, all day.
We partied without him last night, just me and josh.

I would of left the party!
My DH knows better then to do that to me, I would of took Julia and sat her on his lap and went and did my own thing. I don't tolerate that sh!t!
