So do you prefer high chairs or the booster?
I have twin 1 year olds and I'm wondering if its just easier and less clutter to have 2 booster seats that you attached to your dining chairs OR keep the high chairs. I'm torn...i like the high chairs, but i feel like they take up too much room. any thoughts?

I have 2 highchairs. For us, in now way ever imagineable will my 2 girls every go on my dining room chairs until they can get the whole fork to mouth thing without dropping or spilling. I dont' have an EIK with a kitchen table.
But if i did, they would be eating at the table with us in booster seats

Hmm, I love my high chair, my DD is nearly 2 and I see her in it for awhile longer! Makes it easier at our table too. But I think if I had 2 the same age, I would go to booster seats for sake of space!

I think I might sell my old highchair and get a booster seat for baby #2. It takes up less room. My friend has one and it's perfect. Jared already sits in a regular chair so I don't have to use the high chair with him anymore.

Re: So do you prefer high chairs or the booster?
My DD is almost 2 and I still have her in the high chair because I need her to be "trapped" to eat. I'd LOVE to get rid of the high chair, but I just don't see her sitting to eat without it. She'll be in the highchair for a while longer.

I'd go with the highchair, cause I am always moving her between dh and I so the wheels come in handy.

Re: So do you prefer high chairs or the booster?
I did a highchair with my 1st child and then did the booster with #2 and #3. I definitely prefer it except now my DS scares the heck out of me when he pushes off from the table in it. I'm always afraid it's going to tip backwards. My DD never did that. But otherwise I rather it than another big baby item.

Re: So do you prefer high chairs or the booster?
DD uses a highchair at home and a booster at restaurants or other peoples homes. When DS is ready for the highchair I will move her to a booster and let him use the highchair.
The highchair is nice and comfy and has a big tray and I like it, but I have the room for 1. I would never have 2 in my kitchen though!! I will say DD loves her booster too. She just likes any chair she gets food in

Re: So do you prefer high chairs or the booster?
I didn't get the boosters b/c I felt like if we had company over that takes up two chairs. It was sooo much easier feeding them in the high chairs I thought too. Last week I took their trays off and pulled their high chairs up to the table though and that's been working well.

Re: So do you prefer high chairs or the booster?
i like both....I have the high chairs and they are great. We also bought the booster seats but use that for when we go out to dinner and when we go to friends' houses. If you have an issue with space i would go with the booster.
