So, DS just fell off his bouncy seat and hit his head on the floor and I feel like a terrible mommy
Shane is 5 months and I just put him in the bouncy seat, unstrapped just to put him down for 5 seconds so I could plug in the fan which is right next to where he was sitting. I literally turned my back for about 3 seconds and, since he's rolling over now, he rolled right out of the bouncy seat, which I forgot to add, I put on the coffee table right then just to move it out of the way. Well, he hit his head on the hardwood floor and was crying. I was crying, it was awful. He's fine now and I already spoke with the on-call dr at my ped office and she said he seems fine just to keep an eye on him for vomiting and things like that. He's in his exersaucer now right next to me, but I don't think I've ever been so scared in my life. Ugh, I feel like an awful mother for every single thing that led up to that, putting him down unstrapped, having the chair on the coffee table...everything could have prevented. I just THANK GOD he seems to be ok and is now laughing in his exersaucer.

You are not a bad mommy. Accidents are part of the deal. And you know what? Now you know -being a mom is so much about learning as we go. YOU ARE DOING GREAT AND I AM GLAD YOUR DS IN OK!!!!!!

Alexa flung herself out of the bouncy the other day, she was still strapped in but clobbered her head on the floor anyway. I told her 5 times not to do it cause she would get hurt.... she already could give a rats A** what I say and did it anyway!
your NOT a bad mommy, i'm sure he is fine, they have "THICK" little skulls
