so happy so happy!!!! after weeks of working like a maniac...
I have put in so many hours on a project over the last 2 months that was finally completed (or a least a major phase of it) last week.
well I put in my time sheets yesterday, I realized that I worked enough "comp" hours that, included with my earned leave, I can take the entire month of December off while my MIL is away to be with my son!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe it. I am sooo happy. I only had 6 weeks with him after he was born so this is like payback for me. and at my FAVORITE time of year.
 come on December!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's awesome! I haev taken december off and LOVED EVERY SECOND!!!! I have to earn it back after my maternity leave, maybe next year
It truly changes teh holiday - makes it more peaceful and enjoyable!!! my next big break will probably be a maternity leave but whatever LOL

I love comp time!! I was off for December while on maternity leave and it was great (except for that whole brand new baby thing)!

thanks guys. I can't wait to do crazy awesome stuff with him.
with my luck, I'll break a leg or get sick though.  
ETA: I may even through dh for a loop and maybe see if we can spend part of the holiday abroad. I spend Christmas in Sicily a few years ago and it was my favorite ever!!!!!
