So hard to find a female OBGYN!
I just came back from an obgyn appointment with Susan Scavo. She was sooooo nice. Unfortunately she will no longer be delivering babies.
A few months ago I met with another nice gyn, emily brooks, but she no longer delivers either.
I TRIED to go to Hanauer but she cancelled my appointment twice.
I also made an appointment with Michelle Smith-Levitin a few months ago but they cancelled my appointment because I was not high risk. 
Can you please recommend a practicing OBGYN in Nassau County? TIA!

I would say try Hanuaer again. She is wonderful. I have never been cancelled on, maybe it was just bad luck.

you might want to try the female docs that work with dr nimaroff in great neck - he's great but he's a he 
plus he doesnt accept my insurance as of jan 08 - so im on the hunt for a new obgyn doc also

i LOVE dr. wendy fried at Northern OBGYN in new hyde park - i think she is affiliated wtih NSUH.
i would still be going to her if she accepted my insurance

I agree. She's terrific. Try calling again. There might have been an emergency.

I Love and used Dr. Patricia Lee
in lake success from Pro Health. She is amazing!!! Her entire practice is wonderful, very modern, extremely knowledgable and always takes the the time really listen to their patients concerns. They made the journey so relaxing and wonderful!!
They are affiliated with North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. (Loved the hospital by the way)
The practice is located on New Hyde Park Rd.

Hey that's down the block from me! If I didn't love my OBGYN I'd go there, it'd be a 2 minute drive!
That's so funny - when i lived in NY and even for my earlier NJ years - I went back to NY just for them!

Long Island Womens on the corner of Newbridge and Merrick Rd in Bellmore are good and they have 3 (I think) female Dr's.

I used to see Dr. Marcie Ostroff at this practice too (before I moved). The staff was great!
