so here is our new home! what color would you paint the shutters?
here is our new home! 
someday we will redo the siding but until then, we will do a power wash and paint the ugly baby blue shutters and post.
i am having a hard time imagining what color to replace the blue with!?!?
i thought white but dh thinks it will be too washed out..
any thoughts?

ITs hard to tell from the pic, but you could do a Navy blue or a green maybe

ITA This is what I have , we did Benjamin Moore: Cottage Red and LOVE it, looks gorgeous around the holidays too,,,with snow...ect.

yes, it is a light beige color
i am liking the cranberry or navy blue colors!!
we do not intend to buy new shutters at the moment b.c eventually we will redo siding and shutters..
i hate buying things twice so, we will paint for now..

I think Navy would look really nice and paint the door to match. I think Cranberry or Black would prob look better against white siding.

congrats-- I think I woild like blue or red. If you did blue-- soemthing that popped more than what you already have. I do love a red door though-- if you do a red door, I like black shutters.
