I tried giving her an ounce of Nutramigen this afternoon. She seems completely fine right now. What should I look for? I don't even remember other than the blood in her stool what we looked for when we knew she had a milk protein allergy. TIA!

When my cousin's son had a reaction to his formula, it was hard to miss. Projectile vomiting.

How is she doing so far?

No, they cannot get it covered for us. But that's not even the issue. I am just convinced she really does not need it. I never tried Nutramigen for fear that it would just do the same as Alimentum, but my ped. suggested trying it because he really doesn't think she needs the Neocate anymore.

As far as how it went, she took it really well and did not have any problems! I remember with Alimentum, she projectile vommitted and pooped all at the same time. She was completely normal today, so I'm going to give her some more tomorrow and see. Wish us luck!
